19H/ Welcome to the new participants:
During the first thirty minutes, the time we will wait to everybody connect will be a good occasion to introduce ourselves and share informations about last saturday in a free discussion without  moderation.

19H30/ Next steps of the global network:
Since Saturday we seen a lot of propositions in order to maintain the collective action during this next weeks. Here you can see the both principals but you can add yours in this pad.

The 5th. of November will be signed with a V as Vendetta,  Anonymous plan to crash Facebook, the outraged in London prepare a big action as other city who plan a new anti-bank day (in Paris the assembly decided to occupy la Defense, the major business district) and a lot of people will participate in a huge attack on the financial elites:
After the announce of BTD inviting people to transfer their money from the banksters to credit union on November 5 (more than 52.000 people participate to the event according to Facebook), we made directly the link with a similar proposal of action we was preparing in Barcelona four month ago.
This action wasn’t realisable because of the lake of international contacts we have now, so we prepared a call to be proposed in a maximum of assemblies, we bought transitionday.net and we entered in contact with BTD.
Members of this group will propose it in the next general assemblies of Madrid, London, Athens, Milan, Brussels, Paris  and some Americans ones for a start and we invite you to introduce it in your assembly before Friday if you can.
During this meeting we will examine the call to make it the most sophisticate as possible and start to spread it directly after the meeting in our main channels, inviting people to share it a maximum and to present it in their local assemblies.

Proposal to your assembly:
The proposal is to start an international campaign for everybody to take their money out of the commercials banks and pass it to ethic banks (bank account) and credit unions (savings).
So  this action will have two fronts: take  the money out from the banksters  elites, and also put more money  available for sustainable projects  who will contribute to everybody and  help to heal the world.
People  can do it without changing  anything on the way they use their money  (debt cards, etc) and they  will have a bank account that will not  contribute to war and   exploitation.

What is the plan:
  • A big campaign of communication to promote this action during the next twenty days in witch we need the collaboration of a maximum of assemblies to approve the call and medias to spread the informations. So the first step will be to present this proposal to your assembly and create a working group charged to promote the action.
  • Until the 5th. of November we will spread a lot of texts and videos showing what the traditional banks are doing with our money but also promoting the financial alternatives and the projects they finance.  We invite all the assemblies to open the debate locally, share this   materials and create new ones adapted to their local situations. So we welcome the videomakers, designers and all the people who can bring informations on this topic.
  • The  5th. of November will be the great day where we invite everybody to transfer his money from his bank to an ethic one or credit union, following this simple steps:
• Research your local credit unions or ethic banks options (you have until the 5th. of november and we will share a maximum informations and contacts to help you)
• Open an account with the one that best suits your needs (before the 5th. of November because it will be a Saturday and some of them will be closed)
• Cancel all automatic withdrawals & deposits (Before the 5th. of November for more security)
• Transfer your funds to the new account (during the 5th. of November if it’s possible the morning when they are all open)
• Follow your bank’s procedures to close your account before the 5th. of November.

Find a credit union (add the ones you know) :

Together we can ensure that these banking institutions will ALWAYS remember the 5th of November!!
If the 99% removes our funds from the major banking institutions to non-profit credit unions and ethic banks on or by this date, we will send a clear message to the 1% that  conscious consumers won’t support companies with unethical business practices.
But  we can go further, the 5 is one of the best days to have the most impact on the market and the banking comptability, so if we succeed the 5th. of November we can repeat every 5 of every month this same action, trying to break the record  every time. The people will get used to it and we will use the same  campaign of comunication so it will be very easy to do it again.

A next step for the movement is the G20, a member of the group propose to have people’s forum on November 2-3 all over the places to say that they don’t represent us (self-appointed organization), they cannot decide for us, but also think together what are our alternatives…
We can all debate the proposal during this meeting, see the possibilities to organize transports and invite to join this action as Madrid will do, or to organize decentralized actions for the 1st. of November, and Social forums for the 3 and 4, if we think that it will be presentable to our assembly we can elaborate a resum of the call and organize the promotion (action contest, follow-up, global agora for the forum…)

What is the plan?
1. from the French G8G20 2011 Coalition
Dear all,
The preparation of the mobilisations in Nice face to the G20 is moving forward. http://www.mobilisationsg8g20.org/
The global framework of the days of mobilisations planned from the 1st to the 4th of November in Nice is as follow: Tuesday, 1 Nov : International demonstration (departure at 3pm from the center of Nice), rally and concert
Wednesday 2 – Thursday 3 Nov : People’s Forum in Nice during the day (self-organised activities, to be proposed via our website)
In the frame of the mobilisations on November 1-4 in Nice face to the G20, the People’s Forum will take place on Wednesday 2 and Thursday 3. Under the slogan “People First, Not Finance”, this Forum will be built around 6 themes :
1. Stop austerity, end inequalities (austerity, employment, social rights, welfare, debt)
2. The people, not the market (finance regulation and debt)
3. Change the system, not the planet (environment, development)
4. Don’t gamble with our food (agriculture, food)
5. Indignados, Rebels, Solidarity (democracy, struggle in Mediterranean region, human rights)
6. They’re 20, we’re billions (global governance)
This Forum will only be successful if there is a large mobilization across the world to make it a big event. We therefore call upon all civil society groups, social movements, NGOs and trade unions to take the initiative of organizing one or several events during the Alter-Forum : Conference-debate, round table, press conference, stunt / street action….
It’s up to you to register your activity by filling in the
form below before the 23rd of September!
The activities of the Forum will take place :  On Wednesday 2, at 10 am, 2 pm and 5pm. On Thursday 3, at 2pm and 5pm. (on Thursday 3 morning, a united action against tax havens is planned at the border with Monaco).

2. the call from Dakar world social forum Put people first, not finances, Tuesday 1 March 2011 All the versions of this article: http://www.mobilisationsg8g20.org/
Gathered at the Action against the G8/G20 Convergence Assembly at the World Social Forum in Dakar, we – social movements, trade unions, international solidarity associations, women and men from all continents – call for massive popular mobilizations during the G8 summit on May 26th and 27th in Deauville and the G20 summit on November 3rd and 4th in Cannes. Here in Dakar, we have debated about the way to address the social, ecological, economic and geopolitical crises that together constitute a true crisis of civilization.
The G20 was formed by 20 of the richest countries in the world, in disregard of all the rest. Though it proclaimed itself to be the guarantor of world economic and financial stability immediately after the financial storm hit in 2008, it has done nothing to protect the people from this major crisis. On the contrary, the G20 upheld the dictatorship of the financial sector, which continues to exert its power over all aspects of our existence: housing, employment, education, agriculture, climate, retirement pensions, knowledge, biodiversity… Through its actions, the G20 reinforces the actors and mechanisms at the origin of the crisis, while making citizens pay the price.
We know responses to the global crisis that are truly democratic and built in solidarity will not come from the leader
s of the world’s richest countries, but rather from the peoples themselves. We refuse to give the powerful the right to impose their solutions for the crises they themselves have generated.
This is why we are calling on everyone to turn the G8 and the G20 in France into moments where all struggles converge: struggles against financial opacity and deregulation, the illegitimate debt in the North and the South, against austerity policies and in defence of public services, against false solutions to climate change and in favour of production and consumption models that preserve the planet, against job instability and for decent work, against speculation on raw materials and for food sovereignty, against dictatorships, militarization and colonialism and for the democratic rights of the peoples…
Through our practices and proposals, our movements demonstrate that alternatives do exist. Universal access to fundamental human rights and the protection of our planet can only be achieved through a just distribution of wealth, the adoption of other modes of development and democratic management of the common goods.
We call all movements, networks and organizations to unite at the G8 and G20 summits in France. We count on the resistance movement’s diversity and the complementary nature of our various ways of thinking and modes of action to give rise to the diverse range of initiatives needed to build a broad international mobilization.

We’re living through a magical moment … #OCCUPYWALLSTREET  has catalyzed into an international insurgency for democracy … the mood  at our assemblies is electric … people who go there are drawn into a  Gandhian spirit of camaraderie and hope for a new kind of future. Across  the globe the 99% are marching! You have inspired more than you know.  People are digging into Act One of the long Spring.
Its now time to amp up the edgy theatrics … deviant pranks,  subversive performances and playful détournements of all kinds. Open  your insurrectionary imagination. Anything, from a bottom-up  transformation of the global economy to changing the way we eat, the way  we get around, the way we live, love and communicate … be the spark  that sustains a global revolution of everyday life!
As the movement matures, lets consider a response to our critics.  Lets occupy the core of our global system. Lets dethrone the greed that  defines this new century.  Lets work to define our one great demand.

What is the plan?
This is a proposal for the general assemblies of the Occupy movement.
Eight years ago, on February 15, 2003, upwards of 15 million people  in sixty countries marched together to stop President Bush from invading  Iraq … a huge chunk of humanity lived for one day without dead time and  glimpsed the power of a united people’s movement. Now we have an  opportunity to repeat that performance on an even larger scale.
On October 29, on the eve of the G20 Leaders Summit in France, let’s  the people of the world rise up and demand that our G20 leaders  immediately impose a 1% #ROBINHOOD tax  on all financial transactions and currency trades. Let’s send them a  clear message: We want you to slow down some of that $1.3-trillion easy  money that’s sloshing around the global casino each day – enough cash to  fund every social program and environmental initiative in the world.
Take this idea to your local general assembly and join your comrades in the streets on October 29.
